For this home in the picturesque Village of Miami Shores, Florida, our clients’ main requests were to restore key historical features of the house to their original design such as the terrazzo floors, louvered side panels and decorative woodwork; and to better utilize the spaces. For that reason our proposed design consists of the reconfiguration of the Kitchen and Primary Bathroom partitions to modernize the layout and improve the flow of the rooms. We are also updating the exterior terrace, side yard and parking court to create useful outdoor areas and bring more light into the Primary Bedroom.
