A cool newlywed couple, who have recently moved from NYC to our Magic City, bought this charming Spanish Hacienda Style-Home in one of the hottest spots in Miami Beach, and hired ANDstudio for its complete renovation and to design a new two-story addition and a guest house.

The project also includes the redesign and redistribution of the main floor by demolishing part of the house that was added years ago and didn’t follow nor respected its style, in its place we designed a Kitchen extension, with a new and spacious Family Room facing the terrace and the new swimming pool. This whole extension, on the main floor, is also the base and foundation for the new Primary Room addition on the second floor.

The Guests Wing on the second floor was redesigned and optimized in such a clever way that allowed us to turn this 3-bedroom house into a 5-Bedroom/ 4.5-Baths home. We added about 312 SF. on the first floor and 604 SF. on the second floor, turning this authentic South Florida house into their gorgeous 3,466 SF. new Home.

Our mission is always to respect the identity of the house by restoring some unique features that were lost over time, and our goal is to elevate and upgrade the spaces and rooms by modernizing some elements and fully accomplish our client’s expectations according to their lifestyle and needs, and they happen to be a young couple that loves to entertain and receive friends and family from out of town, for that reason the work of the Exterior includes a new Guest Suite with a Covered Outdoor Entertaining Area, a completely repaved and updated Pool, and an Outdoor Shower. We also redesigned The Driveway and Pedestrian Access of the house.
